About the Creator
Lexie has spent many hours of her life dedicated to watching, reading, and listening, and has finally decided to create a space to feature her thoughts on it all. The F.M.L Society is what came out of a long brainstorming session one morning, and is slowly becoming one of her largest projects to date.
When not spending time in the movie theater or trying to learn a new language, she is consuming various forms of media. Either that, or writing a new review on Letterboxd.
The F.M.L Story
Welcome to the F.M.L Society!
This is a space I've created for the people (myself included) who like way too many things at once, and need a place to talk about them. Throughout this ongoing and hopefully never-ending journey, I'll be expressing my opinions and thoughts on various forms of media and, as the title of the blog suggests, all things that fall under the spectrum regarding film, music, and literature.
I had this idea after a life lecture I received from a very close friend of mine, and decided to dive in head-first and take a shot at it. After spending years writing essays about topics that didn't particularly interest me, this seemed like the best path for me. I feel like I always have so many things to talk about, and nowhere to do it! Hence, the F.M.L Society was born.
It has taken me a while to reach this point, but now that I have found the one thing that keeps me going, I've decided to pursue it. I want to thank anyone in advance that chooses to join me on this adventure, and I hope that I can meet like-minded people who share this passion for the films, music, and literature that have changed the trajectory of my life for the greater good.
Exaggerations and theatrics aside, welcome. I hope this brings you as much joy as it does for me.
